Kundalini Yoga an excellent technology for our Information Age. This ‘yoga of awareness helps to create true glandular balance, nervous system strength and vitality which are key to operating with optimized ability and radiance. ‘Kundalini’ is the creative potential (energy) of the human being. Kundalini Yoga consists of, Kriya, breathwork, mantras, relaxation and meditations in varied combinations to enhance our true health and well being.
No experience or special flexibility is necessary. All traditions welcome.

We are just starting offering Kundalini at this wonderful studio — so Please come out and enjoy a celebration of the New Year in community with an energetic and elevating practice!
Following the hour & half class we will share a bit in circle, enjoy yogi chai, and experience a short sacred music Kirtan. Music will be from varied traditions ( Kundalini, Buddhist and Hindu)
Kirtan is the sacred music & art of Chanting the names of the Divine and Mantras. The trio of musicians are Jenna( vocals and guitar) Dave McAsey (Fingerstyle guitar) and Bryan Louton on cajon/and or tablas. Some songs will be ‘call & response, some sung along. Mantra sheets provided.
Jivan Shakti Kaur — IKYTA Certified
(aka Jenna McAsey ) has been teaching Hatha yoga for 22 years and Kundalini (8yrs) in the Davis Community. Her love for this ‘householders’ technology is born through the deep healing, creative spark and balance it has brought to her own life. She brings both a sense of playfulness and steady gentle strength to her teachings of this ancient form of yoga. This will be an event not to miss!
